Hyojung is a PhD candidate, currently working on her dissertation – Investigating the cognitive validity of high-stakes, academic English-as-a-second-language reading tests. At Michigan State University, she worked as a testing assistant in the Testing Office of the English Language Center and also taught undergraduate courses in the Language, Learning, and Teaching program.
Her research interest lies in language assessment, L2 automatization, L2 processing, and SLA research methods.
